Rail or deck mounting stainless steel davits are made with cast modular sections for ease of installation with superior strength and durability, far surpassing any products that our competitors carry. Cast deck and transom davits are also made, as well as cranes and low profile rotating davits.
All of our units meet the same rigorous and thorough design specifications and unlike other davit manufacturers we believe that all boaters do not have the same davit requirements. There are main deciding factors when selecting an Atkins & Hoyle Davit. The specific model needed for your individual application can be detremined by either weight of the tender or where the Davit is going to be placed. Take a few moments to decide which factor is most paramout and then proceed accordingly.

Estimate the weight of the tender and motor (including fuel) or personal watercraft you wish to lift. When figuring out the weight do not add any extra weight for safety. Atkins & Hoyle Davits products have safety tolerances built into them. Try and get as accurate a number as possible. For Example:
